They Use Little Energy
Saltwater crocodiles have a slow heartbeat, lie around a lot, and breathe slowly. This combination makes them super-reptiles, ones that can survive even the harshest climates and terrain. It’s said that saltwater crocodiles can go without food for nearly a year. We can’t imagine lying around and not eating for that long, considering we get hungry within the span of a few hours.
