They Can Live Anywhere
Don’t be fooled by the name “saltwater crocodile.” They don’t only live in saltwater, they can live anywhere. Their territory includes northern Australia, eastern India, and Southeast Asia. Not only do they love saltwater habitats, but they also thrive in freshwater, too. If you’re swimming in a river, don’t think you’re safe. There might be a saltwater crocodile lurking beneath the surface of the water, looking for its next prey. In the past, saltwater crocodiles were up to 22 feet long. Not only that, but they live as long as humans and can survive up to 73 years (Discover Wildlife).
