W Trek
In Patagonia, Chile, some people that begin the W Trek never finish it – and are never found. Because of this, it’s one of the most treacherous hikes in the world. It’s a large national park with animals that could possibly pose a threat to trekkers. In previous years, trekkers have gone missing, and their bodies were never located. The park spans 1,814 km², which simply means it’s incredibly huge. Additionally, there’s no search and rescue team, and no fire brigade, so if something does happen, you’re in trouble. Only the bravest souls choose to hike this trail (Traveling Honeybird).
