23. Alice in Wonderland Syndrome
Also known as Todd’s Syndrome, the Alice in Wonderland Syndrome is absolutely insane. It is one of the rarest brain disorders known today and only affects a small number of people annually. It’s usually connected to people who have brain tumors or happen to be involved with frequent drug use. Essentially, the condition affects a person’s perception of the world around them.
Things like Micropsia, Macropsis, Pelopsia, and Teleposia are involved here. Objects around them will appear larger or smaller than they are. However, the person may also feel larger or smaller than they truly are too. It affects most of the senses including vision, touching, and even hearing. Imagine for a second that a person knew how to make this happen to multiple people around the world at the same time. That could cause some truly problematic issues.
