- Experiment: Can Blood From Younger People, If Given To Older People, Give The Elder Youth Rejuvenation
- Cause of Death: Problematic Blood Transfusion With Student Infected With Malaria and Tuberculosis
Alexander Bogdanov was one very interesting man. He is noted for being a relatively good philosopher and science fiction writer. Yet he was also a physician and even a politician. He actually was one of the early leaders of the Russian Social Democracy Labor Party. Alexander even co-founded the Bolsheviks in 1903. His first love was always science, however. This is why his initial training was in both medicine and psychiatry. In fact, he loved the idea of several major scientific concepts.
The first was Systems Theory but the other was the possibility of human rejuvenation via blood transfusion. This, however, would be his biggest mistake. While some killer science experiments lead to explosions or high-speed falls, others happen in a less dramatic fashion. Attempting to test his idea of blood giving eternal or partial youth rejuvenation, he took blood from a student. However, this student had been suffering from malaria and tuberculosis and may have even been the wrong blood type for Alexander. Bogdanov died from this but the student he injected with his own blood made a full recovery!
