Great Sand Dunes National Park
Exposure to deadly heat and vast lands makes Great Sand Dunes National Park, located in the USA, one of the most treacherous hikes in the world. The hot sand is also known to potentially cause blisters on bare feet. It’s easy to accidentally go off the trail, so you need to be especially careful and make sure you follow the route and trail exactly as it’s marked. Additionally, you’ll need to have plenty of water, since dehydration is common. Regardless, it’s still a great trek with stunning views of the sand dunes (Wandering Wagars).
