The West Coast Trail
Located in Vancouver, this trail is rated as one of the most treacherous hikes in the world. Nevertheless, you’ll experience tide pools, incredible rock formations, coastline, and an old growth forest, in addition to many beautiful birds and vast wildlife. On the trail are man-made ladders, campsites, and rickety bridges, which is why it’s so dangerous. It’s 75-kilometers, so if you have the time and motivation, you can walk the enitre thing. It’s Vancouver’s most challenging trek on the coast, so if you do complete it, then you should definitely pat yourself on the back (Switchback Travel).
